Buy Me Claude Credits

A support button for AI builders with the payments plumbing behind it. Dropped before completion.
A Buy Me a Coffee style backend built around funding model usage, with Stripe, Razorpay and UPI QR rails. Dropped as an incomplete prototype: it was only tested in mock mode and the live provider flows were never validated against real accounts. The repo is private.
Why it exists
AI builders spend real money on model usage, and a tip jar should not need its own company. This is the smallest honest version: one API, three payment rails, and a widget you can drop into any page.
What it does
- A full support lifecycle (intent, checkout, webhook, status) with idempotent intent creation and idempotent webhook ingestion, so a retried request or a duplicate event never counts a payment twice.
- Three payment rails behind one API: Stripe, Razorpay and UPI QR. Each falls back to a mock when its keys are missing, so the whole flow runs locally with no accounts.
- Signature-verified webhooks, and a reconciliation endpoint that expires stale intents and timed-out attempts.
- Embeddable three ways: a floating-button script, an iframe checkout, or a hosted page per creator.
- Planned before it was built: CEO, engineering and design review passes produced a phased roadmap and explicit go/no-go gates.
