An open source human approval API for AI agents and automations.
One API call emails an approver Approve and Reject buttons, and your code waits for the decision. The hosted app is a capped demo; the real thing is self-hosted.

Why it exists
Agents ignore instructions, so the approval has to happen outside the model. Shonin makes that one API call, and it is built so the agent that asks for approval can never give it to itself.
What it does
- Risk-scored approval emails: a force push or a DROP TABLE is flagged before the approver clicks.
- Multiple-choice decisions and webhooks behind a small REST API, with docs written as Markdown and served to agents as llms.txt.
- The agent cannot approve itself: tokens never leave the email, and opening a link decides nothing until a person confirms.
- Runs as a capped public demo; anyone can self-host it on their own Supabase and Resend with no limits.
- Hardened before launch: webhook URLs restricted to public https, row-level security on every table, and a rate limit on the email endpoints.
